Serving Hopkinsville, KY
Both the 2023 Honda HR-V and the Honda CR-V are crossover SUVs with an exciting balance of individualized styling, exciting performance abilities, and exceptional features. The HR-V is the first crossover in the Honda lineup, and the CR-V takes its spot in the lineup directly above the HR-V. With the full support of our sales associates at White's Auto Mall Honda, you can better understand these models' other key differences.
Performance
Across the 2023 Honda HR-V's three trims, you will find a 2.0-liter 158 horsepower four-cylinder engine, which is paired with an automatic CVT. The 2023 Honda CR-V, on the other hand, has two available powertrains. The Honda CR-V LX, CR-V EX, and CR-V EX-L are all powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which creates 190 horsepower. Meanwhile, the 2023 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid and CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid system. The total combined horsepower of the engine and hybrid system is 204 hp. All-wheel drive is optional on both the HR-V and CR-V models - except for the CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid, which features standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The differences between the HR-V and the CR-V are brought to life through a side-by-side comparison. The HR-V has a waterfall-edge hood with a small grille. The headlights sit at a higher elevation than the grille, and they stand out with their pointed design and LED accentuation. The sides of the HR-V are athletically sculpted with angled, crisp accents. The 2023 Honda CR-V has a taller and wider grille that directly connects to the slanted, LED-topped headlamps. Black molding that starts on the front bumper flows across the side doors.
Features
You will be pleased to find many of the same safety and cabin features in the 2023 HR-V and the 2023 CR-V. These include parking sensors, a dual-zone auto climate management system, ambient lighting, wireless connections for the smart device apps, satellite radio, wireless smartphone charging, heated front seats, a blind-spot monitor, remote engine start, multiple USB ports, and others. The CR-V is a higher-level model and may also come with a Bose sound system, a navigation system, a hands-free liftgate, memory settings for the driver's seat, and others.
