The fourth generation of the popular Honda Pilot is introduced for the 2023 model year. Its capabilities, design, and features have been impressively updated as a next-generation model. At White's Auto Mall Honda, we are excited to be your preferred source for more details about the latest Pilot, and we are ready to help you compare the 2022 Honda Pilot to the 2023 version.

Performance

In 2023, two significant improvements have been made to the Pilot's performance capabilities. First, the Pilot TrailSport now has off-road capabilities with the introduction of a 1-inch lift, three skid plates, all-wheel drive, 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and a TrailWatch camera. In addition, a new V6 engine is available, and it pairs with an auto 10-speed transmission. Compared to the 2022 Pilot's V6 engine, the output has been increased by five horsepower up to 285 horsepower. Drivers can choose between seven driving modes.

Appearance

If you opt for the updated Pilot TrailSport trim for 2023, your SUV will exclusively be available with Diffused Sky Blue paint. From bumper to bumper, the 2022 Pilot displays a short hood with an angled nose and a pair of linear accents on the sides. In 2023, the Honda Pilot has a taller nose with a larger, hexagon-shaped grille. The headlights have a fresh look with a rectangular shape, three bulbs, and an LED bar. The bumper has also been reshaped with a long, flat style and curved air vents. Across the sides, you will find black, lower-body cladding and an ultra-thin accent line.

Features

Inside the cabin, the 2023 Pilot's seats have been upgraded for enhanced comfort, and there is also a modernized dashboard design. Many of the features in the 2022 Pilot carry up to the 2023 model year without change. Some of these items are a forward-facing camera, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-dimming and power-folding mirrors, second-row captain's chairs, a hotspot, parking sensors, an intercom system, a household-style power outlet, heated first and second-row seats, sound-reducing windows and more.
